So I had to take books back to the library yesterday. both mine and my daughter Elizabeth’s. On the way I said to myself…”.You are not getting any books out of they library, you are already reading four or five books!” My response was fine, “well, how about if I only get out a book if I find something by somebody whose work I really love. like say Alex Kava!” I said this thinking I was safe because I know that Alex Kava’s books usually come out in the summer!!
When I arrived at the library and started to browse, I made it through the first shelf, which has all the new top books that are two-week loans. I went on to the next shelves, only to find someone in that row so I went to the end of the alphabet. At the letter S I found Locked In by John Scalzi. “Hey, you know I like this guy and want to read this one!” Maybe I’ll just get this one book…. and so it begins….
Ok, it’s back to the beginning of the alphabet – ok through the As, Bs, C, D.Es…maybe I get out with just one book and then came the Ks and there it was……NO!!! YES!!!

I knew I couldn’t walk out without it and since I already had two books, what will one more hurt!! The good thing is that they are all FOUR week loans, so now I only have to get on the stick and read those four books that I have already started!!! Ok, I’m stopping now, I have to read some before it’s off to work at Target!!
